It has been a very long time since I have updated this blog or made a YouTube video update. The story of my weight loss journey has been a very long one as is the case with most. It has definitely not been a very straight forward one but it has been very worthwhile and I have learnt so much about myself along the journey.<br />
<br />
The very first time I joined Weight Watchers was over ten years ago. I lost some weight and felt great but then unfortunately fell off the so called weight loss wagon. I rejoined some years later and I have regained all the weight I had lost plus some and I was now at my all time heaviest weight of 17st 1lb (239lb) I will never ever forget that moment or that number!<br />
<br />
I was more determined than ever and managed to lost 69lb, which was 1lb off 5 stone. The Weight Watchers program changed from Points to Pro Points at this point. I was already struggling to get to the 5 stone loss and I have been up and down in the previous months. I did not see a reason for change and I essentially used this change in the program to give up. I gave it a half hearted attempt and I never really worked the program and therefore it didn't work for me.<br />
<br />
I gave up and rejoined a few times but never managed to have the success I had when I lost 69lb. This year back in April I decided that enough was enough and I needed a fresh start. I was away for a week with my Boyfriend for a family event and when we came back I rejoined Weight Watchers on April 1st. I whole heartedly embraced the program this time and returned to the same meeting and leader where I had my original success.<br />
<br />
I was introduced to Simple Start and Filling & Healthy and I haven't looked back, I am not obsessing ober Pro Points and constantly counted. I eat healthily and there is still room for treats! Below is the Simple Start food list:<br />

To date I have lost 27.5lb and overall I am down 53lb. I still have 16lb to get back to my lowest weight but I will get there. I will post my weigh in's below so you can see what my weeks are truly like.<br />

The picture below shows me at my heaviest and the one on the right was taken yesterday morning after my weigh in.My leader commented this week on how relaxed I seem this time around and I think this is purely down to knowing it is a lifetime of healthy eating and exercise not just a means to an end.<br />

The reason for this is I dislike the taste of tap water and will only drink bottled. <div><br></div><div>I notice when I do drink more water I tend to go the bathroom lots more in every way! It really seems to get things.. Em...moving! </div><div><br></div><div>We normally buy 12litres of water every time we do a shop but yesterday </div><div>I decided yesterday to head out and buy a bobble water bottle. I love the design and it has an inbuilt filter!</div><div><br></div><div>So far so good. I'm loving my bottle and already have 2litres consumed for the day and will bring a third litre to work. </div><div>I purchased the litre bottle with pink filter and Chris got the green one. Really enjoying being on plan and eating good. I stick to my 31 pro points every day. After weigh in myself and Chris dip into our 49 weeklies and have a treat then. I find this helps me better than using them midweek or dipping in every day. This week despite being on track I was up a 1/2lb. I had a sneaky peak on the scales which I must admit I do most weeks. I know many people don't agree with this but I don't let it get to me too much whether its good or bad I'm just nosy. When I did look at the scales it showed a 3lb gain! I don't know how this could be possible.<br />
I am very stressed at the moment and in the middle of exams. My exam today went hideously and the picture below describes my week perfectly! I haven't been getting exercise in but surely that should lead me to maintain and not have a gain. I guess we will see tomorrow at weigh in but to be honest I am not looking forward to it!<br />
I know weigh loss comes with its highs and lows so no matter what the scales says I know that I am being better to my body by eating better and that gives me the motivation to carry on! <br />
Fingers crossed! I am praying to the weight watchers gods! PLEASE!!!!!! Even a maintain!<br />

Well good weekend so far! Really managing to keep on track, four weeks in and still feeling very positive about ww and losing weight.<br />

My mantra is 1lb per week is 52lb in a year. My aim every week is for that 1lb. And so far so good. It's really keeping me going.<br />

Didn't really enjoy my sandwich yesterday for lunch and I was so
disappointed that my points were wasted on it. Just goes to show how
important it is to keep the food tasty and enjoyable. <br />
<br />
Another big thing I'm finding helpful is planning out the week. Every
week after Weigh In, myself and my boyfriend Chris plan out a list of dinners and
lunches for the week. Sometimes they can swap and change but still a
list of lunches and dinners ready made and we make sure we shop for all the ingredients.<br />
<br />
The last two weeks I have made a large batch of chilli mince with tonnes of veg and froze it in portions. It is so versatile! Can be had with pasta, on wraps, with mash as shepherds pie, with Nachos or with actifry chips and cheese as homemade Chilli fries! We make a list and pop it on the fridge, its really helping. <br />

Well tonight was my third Weight Watchers Weigh In since rejoining and I lost 2.5lb, that's a total of 5lb in three weeks! I'm delighted with that! Right on track for that 1lb per week goal!<br />
<br />
My boyfriend lost 1.5lb tonight bringing his total loss to 6.5lb in just three weeks! His goal is to lose 30lb so that's over 20% of that gone already. I think he might be a WW convert! :P<br />
<br />
After weigh in we treated ourselves to Iron Man 3 in 3D iSense. It was brilliant and needless to say we rewarded ourselves with some cinema treats! We never use our 49 weeklies during the week. We save them for a post weigh in treat which we find it is something to look forward to after each weigh in!<br />

Well another day down! Been having yummy dinners all week and it's made the week so much easier. Really praying for a loss at weigh in! I'd be delighted with 1lb!!<br />

I lost 1.5lb and the boyfriend lost 3lb! Between the both of us that's 7.5lb in two weeks!! Chuffed!!! :-)<br />

We were at a family event yesterday after weigh in and did have some treats and drinks. But we got up this morning and drive the two hours home. We had taken the dinner out of the freezer before we left and came home and heated it up! Back on track woo!! Eager to get another week under our belt!!<br />

I lost 1lb and my boyfriend managed to lose 2lb. Had a really good week and we are both perfectly on track for this week aswell.<br />

Exercise is my weakest point! I'm so bad at it!!<br />

I normally am an all or nothing person! So i decide to join the gym, nearly kill myself exercising and then I hate it even more and its this big vicious circle!<br />

So this time I decided to try and take a calmer approach! So I went for a 40minute walk yesterday and a 50minute walk today, I'm pretty proud of that! Really motivated to get a good loss this week as it's the last one before weigh in!!<br />
