Well Day 3 today and another walk in! 3 days in a row?! Shocking! I can't remember the last time I exercised nevermind did it consistently!
Also my food has been in check only into my weeklies by 4 so thats great going!
Really looking forward to my weigh in!

Hi Everyone,Welcome to my Blog. I'm new to this so please bear with me. I have always been overweight and unhappy about myself for as long as I remember.I have tried to lose weight so many times I've lost count. Then one day everything clicked and I realised that I didn't need to put a time limit and being a perfect weight and being perfect. If I worked at it a little bit everyday it would all come together. So I joined Weight Watchers for the third time and without putting pressure on myself and feeling like a failure decided I would just try baby steps everyday.This decision led to a new way of thinking and a new me........

Exercise!!
Well the aim for this week was to exercise more! Exercise is my weakest point! I'm so bad at it!!
I normally am an all or nothing person! So i decide to join the gym, nearly kill myself exercising and then I hate it even more and its this big vicious circle!
So this time I decided to try and take a calmer approach! So I went for a 40minute walk yesterday and a 50minute walk today, I'm pretty proud of that! Really motivated to get a good loss this week as it's the last one before weigh in!!
Fingers crossed!!
Also made homemade lasagna today!! Was YUM!!!!

It's easy when you want to!
Well I posted this video last week.....
It was quite an emotional update and it was really getting the better of me. But one thing which is clear was that I WANTED to get back on track. When I went to my meeting I had gained 8lb and all I wanted to do was have a good week and get a loss.
Our Leader talked about wanting to do it and how its so much easier when you want to do something and she was dead right! This week was a breeze compared to any other week I've struggled through this week.
My new video is processing so when it's ready I'll pop it up with my Weigh in result!!

Breakthrough!!
Well 3 days in and I am still counting and ON track!! That's an achievement seeing as the past while has been so bad for me!!
Went out with a friend last night and sat there with a diet coke while he had chips and chicken tenders, I has one chip and my nearly drooled on myself but stayed strong!!
Downloaded an app for my new prized possession iWatcher and am loving it!!
Working 4pm-2am tonight so no reason why I can't stay on track!!

Does this all feel a bit familiar!?
Well its been a very long time since I've been on here and updated.
There are not too many reasons for this bar by own laziness and not being very good at the whole weight loss thing of late. You'd think after three years I'd have the knack of it but it just seems to get harder as time goes by. I really think I need to just forgot I've ever lost a pound and look at it as a new journey, but that is so much easier said than done.
Even though I have been struggling I have still gone to every meeting and I spose that is something out of all the bad.
So heres my video update and I am ready to face the music at weigh in tomorrow once more!

Back into the groove!

Woeful Wednesday
Well today was not good......
Started out great! Healthy bagel with tuna to start and in the cinema a small popcorn and diet coke.
Was heading home for dinner and ended up meeting with a friend and went for food and got Ice-cream after!! :-/ CRAP!!!
In work the next three days so I WILL be good and eat within my points. Have eaten 20 out of my 49 weekly and don't plan to have anymore from this!!

Terrific Thursday!
Really feeling great about this week, another good day today! That's two now down and I feel so great!! It was a good idea to go zero tolerance and make sure I weighed my food and pointed everything properly.
Was in work and had a great night, its nights like these that make me love my job. I have the weekend off which could be dangerous but the way I'm feeling now it should be okay. Hope you are all having a great week!!

Fresh Start, Back on track
Well like I mentioned on Tuesday my friend Jen joined WW. Nothing like a bit of healthy competition to give me a kick up the arse!!
Had a wonderful on track day, went to see the kings speech. Great film and also only had a few handfuls of popcorn, diet coke and an apple!! So proud of that one!! Let's hope tomorrow is as good. It's amazing what one good day can do. I feel great and so determined!!

Tuesday Weigh in....
Well today is Tuesday the day of dreaded weigh in. I went and lost 0.5lb. So the first two weeks I maintained and now a tiny loss. I know its not a gain and it could be worse but I feel like I've hit a big plateau, mentally and physically.
On the plus my friend Jen joined WW today. I'm so excited to have an extra person that is focussed on weight loss and Weight Watchers. Hopefully this will mean me getting back into it and dare I say it maybe my competitive side will come out and I'll want to getting losses the same as my friend.
I asked my leader about pro points today and she said that my allocated daily allowance of 29 must be eaten and I can't have less. So I'm going to try have a zero tolerance approach this week and see how that goes. I guess it's all about finding what works and I've just been so used to the points system I now need to get PRO POINTS into my head!!!
Any tips or advice from anybody?

Weekend Woes.....
The weekend is just about over and tomorrow is monday, for me this doesn't mean too much as I don't have a run of the mill job so I get a lovely lie on tomorrow! Sorry! Don't mean to rub it in!
The weekend was mediocre at best food wise! I think maybe a re-haul and a total zero tolerance approach might do the trick and be the way to give myself a kick up the bum. I think the reason for finding things so difficult is because when I was at my heaviest I couldn't walk up the stairs without being out of breath where now, yes I'm overweight but I no longer find these everyday tasks difficult. There is no real push anymore, I no longer cry before I leave the house because I feel so bad about myself. I guess I just need to find the determination I had back at the start and push on and finish what I started!
On a good note I had a great weekend with friends. Went to the cinema twice, the next three days and morning glory which was the winner by a mile! I got to have a laugh and most importantly relax and enjoy myself with my friends.
So, I guess with anticipation I'll just have to wait and see what tuesday brings....

Sinful Saturday
Well.....not such a great day today!!
Woke up late and went to meet my friend, grabbed a cereal bar on the way out the door.
Then met up with another friend and fellow Weight Watcher, went to the cinema and seen the next three days which was quite enjoyable. Got a LARGE popcorn and a few pic n' mix.
That wasn't too bad till I met up with my 3rd friend of the day pictured with me and got McDonalds!! Eeeep!!!
*Slaps self on the wrist!*
Just added up my points for today and its a whopping 49!! Over by 20! I think I can safely say that all my weekly allowance is gone and I have to be extra good the next two days!!
Just incase anybody is interested that Large Cinema Popcorn clocked up an astonishing 19 pro points!! Next time I think I'll just stick to a diet coke!! :-(

Day 2
Well today is my official day two of this blog and I am having a very lazy day.
I haven't eaten very much so far and it's already 5.20pm here in freezing icy Dublin. I always get so tempted to go and blow the remainder of my day on a takeaway to use up my points when I have so many left but I'm not doing this today. I'm making a chicken stir fry for dinner which I cannot wait for!! Yummers!!
Its funny how we can change what we do and make them habits. I know that if I'm strict with myself and have a good week it will just be habit then and I'll keep doing it. GOOD day here I come!!
Think it really is a day for sitting inside and watching telly :-)

Here I go...
Well today is the day where I'm having a fresh start and aiming for a loss this week. The minute I woke up I realised that this is much easier thought about and planned in my head than to put into action. Sometimes I really am my worst enemy.
So, I have already had my breakfast/lunch because I was up late and that was fine, some tuna salad I made with bread. Not too bad. I'm going to try add some pictures to here as I go along and fill it up but be pre warned I would not make a photographer so don't expect too much from the pictures.
I have work tonight so it's going to be a long night and I won't be finished until midnight.
Here's hoping today will be a good one!!

First Pro Points weigh in!
Today was my first official weigh in with Weight Watchers under the new program.
I was quite apprehensive about this because I used all of my daily allowance and also weekly allowance. I stayed the same weight. My leader said this should still lead to a weight loss and maybe keep an eye on portion sizes and track religiously because I am not used to the new program yet.
So, this is the plan for this week! Expert tracking! :-)
Off to the cinema to see Harry Potter at 4pm, think I'm the last person on the planet to see it!! Must make my new video for later aswell! :-)

Hi Everyone,
This is my first post here on this blog. My name is Jacqui, I'm 22 and from Dublin, Ireland.
I used to weigh 239lb or 17st 1lb. I have lost 68lb or 4st 12lb with Weightwatchers and am in the middle of a weight loss journey. I have regained 12lb or so but am back on track with the introduction of the new Pro Points plan.
I also make Vlogs regarding weight loss on youtube, my channel is Jwacqui.
I had a food diary on another website unfortunately and sadly that section of the website has been shut down. I am in the process of saving all my entries I was thinking of posting them here.
I just wanted this to be a quick hi! I'm not sure quite how this works but I'll try grasp it! :-)
